This training program prepares students for a career in the audio engineering profession. Students learn to apply their technical knowledge and skills to the production of sound recordings as finished products or as components of film/video, broadcast, live, or mixed media productions.

Hands-on Training
One of main differences in our audio engineering program is the hands on training we provide by working side-by-side with an active producer in the industry. This hands on training gives you industry insight into tips and tricks and the opportunity to contribute to working on projects with some of your favorite musicians.

Upon completion of the program, we will help you find job placement in your desired field. We won't leave you and high and dry. We will work with you hand in hand while you start your career in the audio engineering field.

Taught by
Joseph ‘Jo Blaq’ Macklin is a multi-platinum, Grammy award-nominated music producer, songwriter, engineer, and vocal arranger.
Jo is still an active and sought out producer in the music industry working with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Anita Baker, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Cruz Beckum, Mario, Big Sean, B5, Chris Brown, 98 Degrees, Jasmine V, Next, Kendrick Lamar, B. Smyth, Evan Ross, Jordin Sparks, Shaunice, and others.
